- Average outside air temperature per month during the heating season (t), °C (Construction rules and regulations).
- Payment tariff for energy consumption (Y), USD/kWt.
- Heating season (n), days (Construction rules and regulations).
- Generator power (N), kWt.
- 24-hour period of the generator work during the heating season - 6-8 hours (on practice).
Payment calculation:
- Payment for the consumed electrical energy per an hour during VTG operation, USD: O = N x Y.
- Payment per a 24-hour period, USD: O24-hour = 6 x O.
- Payment per a month, USD: Omonth = 31 x O24-hour.
- Payment per the heating season, USD: Oheat.season = n x O24-hour.
Example for the payment calculation (Russian currency) during VTG operation in Russia:
- Payment for the consumed electrical energy during VTG operation, per an hour: O = 15 x 160 = 24 rubles.
- Payment per a 24-hour period: O24-hour = 6 x 24 = 144 rubles.
- Payment per a month: Omonth = 31 х 144 = 4464 rubles.
- Payment per the heating season: Oheat.season = 222 х 144 = 31968 rubles.
