Cavitational heat generators for direct heating of technological liquids.
Vortex heat generators produced by our company have been successfully used for water heating for a long time. Therefore, it is quite natural that 9 of 10 our customers purchase them as a main, stand-by or alternative source of heat. In some situations it is impossible to do without generators like this. Using of a heat generator as a source of heat is only a few of their capabilities.
Application of a vortex heat generator in chemical and petrochemical industry allows not only to heat oil or oil-containing liquid but also use it as a special-purpose processing equipment. 2-year experience and considerable volume (more than 3000 tons) of the oil and oil-containing liquid refinement showed the effectiveness of our equipment usage in the following technological processes:
- Water and salt removal.
- The main proportion of water and salts in oil (up to 90%) are in bound (so-called "molecular") state. In this state water is located inside the salt shell (capsule). It is hard to extract this water simply by heating, and sometimes impossible. Considerable energy (up to 500 kW per square meter) is required to destroy such capsules. Therefore we offer technologies for high-intensity oil and oil-containing liquid treatment.
- Ultrasonic treatment by the rotary-pulse units of our enterprise achieves 700 kW per square meter in the force of ultrasonic wave action. It allows an effective destruction of water-salt capsule;
- During cavitational treatment by means of heat generating units the capsule destruction is achieved by formation and explosion of up to 1 million micro bubbles per second.
- Accompanying effect in application of the above technologies is a considerable reduction of sulphides compounds and free sulfur concentration in the treated raw material, which is significant in the production of fuel oil.
- Activation and modification of oil and oil-containing liquid.
- Modification (alteration) in the structure of hydrocarbon raw material is carried out in order to obtain another chemical formula and new qualities of the commercial raw material.
- Our factory is ready to carry out such work within the limits of research and development work.
- Refined hydrocarbon liquids produced from storage do not always meet the requirements of consumer by their quality. It is necessary to change both alternative (combustion, appearance, odor, etc.) and quantitative (freezing temperature, ignition temperature, etc.) parameters of quality. Our factory offers the technologies on the change of hydrocarbon rheological characteristics (viscosity decrease, fluidity increase, etc.) within the limits of research and development work.
- Obtaining of mixtures or emulsions with specified characteristics on the base of oil-containing liquids.
- Wide range of engineering processes for the change of mineral oil class, grade and quality. It is deep emulsification of oil and black oil by second and following components changing their characteristics.
- The most required are the technologies of fuel black oil-water emulsions (water content up to 20%).
- We are ready to offer these technologies within the limits of research and development work.
- Estimated prices can be fixed in the result of negotiations and after the filling of questionnaire.
Heating of oil and oil products.
Today many oil refineries make demands that oil temperature must be not less than 22 °С. Oil has no constant boiling-point like water because it consists of hydrocarbons with different boiling points. Moreover, oil viscosity decreases during heating, and as a result a much faster pumping of heated oil is obtained. It is advisable to heat oil with impurities (such as paraffin and others) to 50?- 80°С in temperature in order to avoid paraffin deposit. One of economically sound methods of oil heating is the application of vortex heat generating unit (VHG). The usage of such unit provides considerable reduction of the process energy consumption, decrease of equipment sizes and their metal content; besides, its application allows the increasing of oil treatment quality.
Heating of acids, salts, alkalis and other reactive and aggressive liquids.
Direct heating of chemical reagents (acid, salt, alkaline solutions and other aggressive media) is often required in manufacturing processes of many production enterprises (chemical, machine-building, metallurgical), e.g. having electroplating shops, pickle baths, etc. In this case conventional methods of heating, such as tubular electric heaters and steam generators are extremely inconvenient due to the necessity of using the special heat exchangers and other bulky, expensive and non-durable devices resistant to the aggressive medium. The using of cavitational heat generators provides high-performance and convenient direct heating of these technological liquids. Equipment operation is controlled by automatics.
